Music Week 2020!
Boys and girls: do you remember this time last year we had Music Week in school?! We heard classical and band music, we played rhythms on percussion instruments, we had Music Technology, we had Musical Theatre……No Music Week this year, but in 2022, we will make up for that! It will be bigger and better than ever!
Happy Valentine’s Day 2021
A huge welcome back to the website. We hope you are all keeping happy and healthy at home. Over the weekend we will be updating our school zone some additional ideas that might help you keep busy at home. In addition, some of you might want to check out RTÉ ‘s Home School Hub and After School Hub which is back on television or online. RTÉ are providing fun and engaging daily lessons for us to enjoy from the comfort of our homes each day from 10am – 12pm. In case you miss an episode they are also available on RTÉ Player.
Some ideas for this week!
Oxford Owl is a fantastic free site with online reading for all ages and levels. Joe Wicks is back every morning with some new routines for you to try out and one of our favourites HIT THE BUTTON can be found on the Topmarks website. Have fun! Stay Safe!
The dancing elves and reindeers of 2nd Class, Room 6a have been busy over the past week preparing our version of Ralph the Reindeer for you all to watch. We hope you enjoy watching it as much as we have enjoyed creating it!
CHRISTMAS RAFFLE WINNERS
Bedtime Reading Club
Ms Dolan’s and Ms Morley’s Senior Infant classes are both taking part in our Bedtime Reading Club. The children get a book every Monday and read it at home with Mum or Dad every evening, and return the book on Friday. The books stay in school over the weekend and new books are then distributed. Week one has been a great success!
